The team competed against undergraduate teams from both four-year colleges and other community colleges, defeating Princeton University, Cornell University, Truman State University, the University of Illinois, the University of Ottawa, the University of Wisconsin and Arizona State University in the process. The team went 7-6, finishing 12th overall. 麻豆传媒 student Charles Hang, of St. Charles, was the third top scoring individual player. 

In February, 麻豆传媒's Quiz Bowl Team took first place in the NAQT 2010 Community College Championship Tournament at Chipola College in Marianna, Fla., which qualified them to enter the April tournament.

In addition to Hang, team members included 麻豆传媒 students Mike Janoski, of Cottleville, Jared Lund, of Cottleville, and Jeremy Roznowski, of St. Peters. Quiz bowl is a fast-paced game in which two teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, sports and popular culture. 

鈥淲e're so proud of the students,鈥 said Wanda Long, professor of math and Quiz Bowl Team advisor. 鈥淨uiz Bowl Team is a new 麻豆传媒 club this year, and they are off to a great start.鈥
