The Beyond the Best Award recognizes executives, employees and board members in St. Charles, St. Louis and surrounding areas.

Day-to-day, Galbierz works with college experts in their fields of accounting, purchasing, public safety, facilities and construction, bookstore and food services. His role is to guide, advise, collaborate and make decisions with them on a myriad of topics related to these support services. He plays a significant role in keeping people, projects and financial matters moving forward efficiently and effectively.
Galbierz said he enjoys making a difference in student's lives and the community. 鈥溌槎勾� is a very special place to be,鈥� he said. 鈥淓veryone works with a common purpose - student success. We know the work we do individually adds to the collective impact we have on our students.鈥�
Galbierz was recognized in 2005 among St. Charles Business Magazine's 鈥淔orty Professionals Under Forty鈥� and was a member of the Missouri Chamber's 鈥淟eadership Missouri鈥� class of 2005. Galbierz has a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership from Washington University. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is also an adjunct instructor of accounting at the college. Galbierz lives with his wife and two sons in O'Fallon.
