Monday, Oct. 21 will mark the beginning of its first ever Disability Awareness Week at St. Charles Community College located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville.

All events will be at 11:30 am in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building auditorium and are sponsored by Disability Support Services, Student Activities and BRIDGE Committee.

    Documentary
    鈥 - by Dan Habib - challenges what it means to be intelligent and points to a future in which people of all abilities can fully participate in higher education, meaningful employment and intimate relationships.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22
    麻豆传媒 student panel
    We'll discuss inclusion, access, accommodations and the challenges students with disabilities face as they navigate school and work.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 23
    鈥淓xploring Disability in Higher Education鈥 workshop
    from will share his experiences in higher education and will discuss welcoming students with disabilities into classrooms.
  • Thursday, Oct. 24
    鈥淣avigating Disability in the Classroom鈥 workshop
    from will discuss navigating disability in the classroom with faculty and future educators.
