Âé¶¹´«Ã½ features various cultures during Cultures Around the World Week
Experience cultures from around the world on campus! St. Charles Community College invites students, faculty and staff to visit Cultures Around the World, beginning 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 8.
ELI (English Language Institute), Student Activities and the BRIDGE (BRidging Inclusion Diversity & Global Education) Committee are co-sponsoring a week of multicultural awareness activities.
Events throughout the week will take place at various locations and times, both on and off of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ campus at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.

- Cultures Around the World Festival
9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, April 8
SC Café
Travel to other countries without leaving campus! Sample ethnic fare, view cultural crafts and clothing, experience music of the world and play international games. Âé¶¹´«Ã½'s English as a Second Language and International students will explain the showcases. Hosted by Dawn Huffman, English Language Institute chair.

Speaker: Anna Crosslin, CEO International Institute of STL

Hear an engaging speaker who has helped more than 8,000 immigrants from 80 countries assimilate into the St. Louis region. Since 1978, Anna Crosslin has led the International Institute of St. Louis, our region's welcome center for new Americans. Her experience, insights and real-life stories will enlighten all who listen. Refreshments immediately following from 2:30-3 p.m.

Come learn about countries around the world from the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students who know them well! International students from the ESL 105 class will discuss their cultural posters and answer questions about their countries, ar
