Center Stage Theatre

Opening the theatre doors inside the Shook Theatre Building is like opening your heart and mind. Center Stage Theatre is the community center for quality, dramatic theatrical performances practically year-round.  For all the current drama, visit the   and the pages.

Appropriate for middle school and above
PERFORMANCES:
October 5, 6, & 7 at 7:30 p.m. and October 6 at 10:30 a.m. & October 8 at 2 p.m.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! by Barbara Robinson

Recommended for ages 5+
PERFORMANCES:
November 9, 10, 11, & 12 at 7:30 p.m.; November 10 at 10:30 a.m. & November 11 & 12 at 2 p.m.

The Outsiders, adapted by Christopher Sergel from the book by S.E. Hinton

Recommended for middle school and above
PERFORMANCES:
March 7, 8, & 9 at 7:30 p.m., March 8 at 10:30 a.m., and March 10 at 2 p.m.

The Movie Game, by Adam Hummel

Appropriate for high School and Above
PERFORMANCES:
April 18, 19, & 20 at 7:30 p.m., April 19 at 10:30 a.m., & April 21 at 2 p.m.

All Shook Up, inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley®, book by Joe DiPietro

  • Free to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Students when they register online using their Âé¶¹´«Ã½ email address or with Student ID at the box office.
  • $60 Season Packages that include tickets to all seven Performing Arts Department shows,  Center Stage and Young People's Theatre performances, are available.

      Group Discount

      A group discount for live performances will be available to anyone purchasing a block of 15 tickets or more for regular priced shows only. 

      Refunds

      Refunds for individual tickets for Center Stage performances can be made up to 15 minutes before the beginning of the show.  Group tickets for Center Stage performances may receive a refund up to one week before the show. There are no refunds on season packages.

      Campus Closures

      If the campus must be closed due to inclement weather or some other unforeseen incident, a performance scheduled during the closure will also be canceled. Email tickets@stchas.edu to exchange your tickets or receive a refund.

      Volunteer to Usher

      Ushers attend the performance for free!

      Auditions

      Auditions for Center Stage productions are open to students and the community. We welcome involvement onstage and offstage. Scripts are on reserve at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Library. Callbacks are by invitation only. You must sign up for an audition time on Sign Up Genius. 

      Email performingarts@stchas.edu to be notified regarding upcoming auditions for the 2023-2024 season!
