We have a bustling literary subculture here at Â鶹´«Ã½. In addition to the edifying classes in creative writing, thepublishes an annual literary journal and runs an open-mic event in the fall and spring semesters. Follow us on Instagram, too!
MID RIVERS REVIEW was established in 2000 and has published writing of distinction and photography and other art by Â鶹´«Ã½ students, faculty, staff as well as writers from the larger community.
The 2024 Mid Rivers Review, edited by Christina Gant, Associate Professor of English, is now available!
Please see the guidelines and submission form below. Decisions for MRR 2025 will be made in summer 2025 with publication aimed for the late fall of 2025 or early 2026.

Our most recent volume of Â鶹´«Ã½'s literary journal MID RIVERS REVIEW was recently published and features work entirely by Â鶹´«Ã½ students. Copies can be purchased for $10 at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Campus Store and include 3 bookmarks featuring photos and poetry.
Submission Guidelines
- Original, unpublished poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction and artistic color or black and w
